photos-mcp privacy policy

photos-mcp is a personal, single-user application, used only by its owner with the owner's own Google account. Home page: photos-mcp.

Data accessed

Photos the owner selects in the Google Photos picker during a session (photospicker.mediaitems.readonly).
Permission to add finished drafts to an album the app creates (photoslibrary.appendonly). The app cannot read, edit or delete other content.
The signed-in account's email address, to confirm it is the owner's account.

Selected photos are copied to the owner's private server only to prepare Instagram post drafts for the owner's review. Location and camera metadata are removed from finished images.
Copies of selected photos are deleted after 7 days; drafts are deleted 30 days after their last change.
Data is never sold, shared with or disclosed to third parties, and is not used for advertising or for training AI models.

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The owner can delete all stored data at any time.
